WHAT THE HECK IS GOING
ON IN THE MARSH   ???
We have already removed thousands of tons of fill
material from the marsh and created small ponds. At
the same time, we made slight changes to the tide gate
at the opposite end of the marsh, allowing water to
move further into the marsh. Then we sat back and
watched for a few weeks as the water moved over the
marsh during varying tides. We have benchmarks set
up all around to chart the movement of the water.

Then, we go back in and adjust the elevations to the
marsh again, adjust the ponds again, adjust the gates
again, and watch again.
